Meet the Bareek Pata Croton, a narrow-leaved variety of the ever-popular Codiaeum variegatum family. Where our English Croton is prized for its broad, splashy leaves, this variety brings a finer, more delicate texture to the same vivid colour palette; its long, slender leaves twist and curl as they mature, adding movement and contrast wherever it's planted.

Just as easy-going as its broader-leaved cousin, it thrives in bright light and rewards consistent care with bold streaks of red, orange, and yellow against deep green.

A great textural contrast plant for borders, hedges, or mixed containers alongside broader-leaved foliage.

Key Features

  • Narrow, Textured Foliage: Long, slender leaves set it apart from broader croton varieties, adding fine texture to plantings.
  • Vivid Multi-Colour Leaves: The same striking mix of red, orange, yellow, and green as other croton varieties.
  • Versatile Use: Works well as a hedge, border accent, or textural contrast plant in mixed beds and pots.

Care Tips

  • Sunlight: Needs bright light to full sun; brighter light brings out deeper leaf colour.
  • Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, watering when the topsoil begins to dry.
  • Soil: Prefers rich, well-draining soil.

Review Of Our Nursery From A Customer

What Our Customers Say

  • Grows like crazy

I put this golden pothos on a high shelf in my kitchen and within a month it had trailing vines almost reaching the counter. Barely any care needed, just a weekly watering and it keeps pushing out new leaves.

    Ayesha Khan, Lahore

  • Perfect for beginners

This was my very first houseplant and it is basically impossible to kill. Low light, forgetful watering, none of it seems to bother it, and it still looks glossy and healthy.

    Bilal Ahmed, Lahore

  • Survives my forgetfulness

I travel a lot for work and this plant does not care. Two, sometimes three weeks without water and it still looks sharp and upright on my office shelf.

    Usman Malik, Faisalabad

  • Great for the bedroom

Bought this after reading it helps with air quality at night. The stiff sword like leaves with the pale variegation look genuinely striking in a corner pot, and it has needed almost zero attention.

    Mehwish Iqbal, Lahore

  • My favorite succulent

The thick jade green leaves store water so well that I genuinely forget to water it for two weeks at a stretch. It sits on my windowsill and gets compliments from every guest.

    Farah Naz, Lahore

  • Easy going and pretty

This has become my go to gift for friends starting their plant journey. Mine has been on the same windowsill for months and just keeps thickening up nicely.

    Zainab Qureshi, Lahore

  • Blooms nonstop

Got a full Jhari 12 inch tray for the porch and the small bright blooms have not stopped since planting. Handles our Faisalabad summer heat without any drama.

    Imran Baig, Faisalabad

  • Handles the heat well

These sat in full sun on my rooftop through the peak of summer and never wilted once. Great value for how much color they bring to the space.

    Kamran Chaudhry, Faisalabad
