Cassia Glauca is a fast-growing, evergreen ornamental shrub highly prized for its vibrant floral displays and delicate feathery foliage.

This hardy plant features alternately arranged, deep-green oval leaflets that provide a lush backdrop for your garden beds or large containers. Throughout the warmer months, it produces massed clusters of brilliant golden-yellow flowers that bloom abundantly across almost every branch. It is an exceptional choice for boundary lines, open lawn spaces, sunny terraces, or front entryways.

Key Features

  • Prolonged Yellow Blooms: Produces vibrant clusters of bright golden flowers that provide strong color all year round.
  • Lush Feathery Foliage: Light, neat green leaflets that add an elegant texture contrast to standard garden shrubs.
  • High Heat Resilience: Perfectly acclimated to handle scorching summer temperatures and short dry outdoor periods once settled.

Care Tips

  • Sunlight: Requires full, direct outdoor sunlight (at least 5 to 6 hours daily). Ample sun is critical to keep the plant compact and maximize flower blooming.
  • Watering: Moderate water needs. Water thoroughly when the top 2 inches of soil feel dry, but avoid areas with standing or stagnant water.
  • Soil: Thrives best in rich, fertile, well-draining garden soil mixes.

What Our Customers Say

  • Grows like crazy

I put this golden pothos on a high shelf in my kitchen and within a month it had trailing vines almost reaching the counter. Barely any care needed, just a weekly watering and it keeps pushing out new leaves.

  • Perfect for beginners

This was my very first houseplant and it is basically impossible to kill. Low light, forgetful watering, none of it seems to bother it, and it still looks glossy and healthy.

  • Survives my forgetfulness

I travel a lot for work and this plant does not care. Two, sometimes three weeks without water and it still looks sharp and upright on my office shelf.

Bought this after reading it helps with air quality at night. The stiff sword like leaves with the pale variegation look genuinely striking in a corner pot, and it has needed almost zero attention.
